Hi I'm new to webdesigning but I am familiar with photoshop a bit. When I start making a website what should the new document size be at? 768x700?

If I was to make a website at 768x700 how will it look on a higer resolution monitor? Will my layout look really small?

Speaking presonally...

I tend to design in Fireworks, then slice the images and export them to dreamweaver. When designing in Fireworks I usually work at 800x600.

Please note that I build websites that fit to the size of the browser window. This can be done with a great deal of forethough and planning when placeing image slices and directly editing the HTML once imported to dreamweaver.

Now I can just about use the basics of photoshop but I don't know if you can place image slices. You also have to think about how these slices will work if you're webpage is covered with lovely curves.
