Help! I'm completely stuck in my career and am desperate to retrain to get into web design/development professionally. I'm currently working on a number of sites for friends, and using webmaster world and online tutorials to learn new tricks, but what i really need is some proper training. Thing is, i'm struggling to know where to look. Dozens of companies offer training both in person or online for a variety of prices, but I have no way of telling what's going to be reputable and useful and what's not. I've even looked at going to university to study for this reason.

I'm looking for training in html/xhtml, CSS, javascript, php, mysql and similar. I know this is a very broad sort of a query, but i wondered if anyone has maybe completed a good course, or runs one, or otherwise has any suggestions? (i'm UK based)

Thanks!
