Google cache

hi, i went to google cache to see when my site was last crawled and it was a few days ago, but my meta tags says to revisit in 1 day. could someone tell me why this happened?

The revisit or revisit-after meta tag is one of the (many!) long-standing myths with search engine promotion. It was created many years back for a small search engine based in Vancouver, Canada. It has never been supported by any other search engine, despite hundreds of web pages and numerous tools recommending it.

Just delete the meta tag, it is nothing but a waste of bandwidth - the spiders will visit on their own schedule. If you want them to visit more often, you need to increase the number and quality of your inbound links. :)
