Hi Blonde bimbo and welcome to WWW.

You have to wait. Check your log for visits from "googlebot". It may take a while to show up though, I launched a site and it took over 4 months for it to show up. Inbound links to your site should help also.

Good luck,

Goober

A quick check is to use the site:www.yourdomain.com operator. This will list the pages that have been indexed by Google. you can then click the "cached" link on each page listed to see when it was last indexed.

You can find details of the other Google operators here ... [google.com...]

Well, if you or one of your friend has already a website which has been indexed by Google, then a link to your website in the index page will definitely help.

Hey blonde bimbo:)
Welcome to webmasterworld.

It might help to create a sitemap for your site.
This way the robots will go directly to your sitemap and collect your info without having to take as much time as if they were to go through every single page on your site. This will hopefully speed up the process.

Hope this helps:)
