Modify Template

I'd like to modify a template

Hello,
I'm working on a website and I have to modify a template but I can't. when I click on the text that I want to change, it's inaccesible and on the code window, the code is in grey and it's the same, I can change or delete anything from the template.
Any help would be great.Btw I use dreamweaver.

If you are plannning to work directly in code view you might want to try opening the file in notepad or any other plain text editor.

make sure you are editing the actual template file (?.dwt) and not a page created from a template (?.html).
