sitepoint has a tutorial which shows you how to display random content on your site, for ex an image or a paragraph of text.
a perl script randomly displays one of many divs and hides the others with display:none
some of the comments for the tutorial said this is SE spam.
if SEO is very important to me, should i worry about using this script?

Better safe than sorry. Don't use it. There are lots of random content server-side scripts out there that only print the actual random content without using CSS to hide anything.
