Hi all. I have been trying to figure out just how much Search Engine Spiders like ASP pages.

My site is almost completely dynamic with a "?" in the product pages. I understand spiders have a hard time chewing on those.

I can create static ASP pages, but the products still dynamically come from the access database. Do spiders crawl very well here?

My other option is good 'ol html with a friendship to the database through an ASP page that would not be submitted to be spidered.

Thanks for your thoughts

Bill

You understand wrong.

Spiders have a hearty appetite and can indeed chomp through a moderate sized query string in ASP or any other language that requires a query string.

Don't fret it.

This topic has been thoroughly hashed through here at the WebmasterWorld. do a site search on "spiders" and "ASP" and you'll find enough to read for a month of spiders.
