Net Objects Fusion 7

A 'non-standard' industry program?

Hi, I'm relatively new to the world of the webmaster and have been producing sites for arouind 18 months now. I use only one program which is Net Objects Fusion 7. The reason I use this is that it is a very simple drag and drop system that can result in profesional looking sites with little programming knowledge.

Now I don't generally produce websites for businesses but a friend asked me to re-design her site. No problems there until it came to setting the site live. As she wanted this to remain with her current web hosting company I would have to transfer the files via Filezella - which failed!

Typically the program is best designed to run on Netfirms servers although the site did go live after I sent her web hosting company the files on disc. They are now saying that ideally they need to re-write the site in HTML at a charge of £500.00.

My question is are they trying to pull a fast one or are there issues that any of you know about with Net Objects and transferring to other servers.

That's bizarre. I've tinkered with NetObjects just a little and I can't imagine it being such a problem to publish. I am not any expert of NetObjects though, so perhaps this claim of needing to "redesign" the site is necessary, but I don't blame you for wondering.
