All my pages are html and I have a powerful server with lots of features that are unknown to me. *embarrassed* If someone can point me to a fool-proof users online indicator, I would gladly appreciate it.

Hello Its great to see you posting over here...you may use any of the php,pearl etc..scripts..to detect the number of users online...just google it " users online" or users online script this will give you script you need....
