I've just revised my website. Its a freebie on geocities -- here's the url if it helps to look at what I'm going to talk about
<Sorry, no personal URLs. See TOS [webmasterworld.com] -- so let's call it "myclub">
I am having difficulty with the send function in the form found on the page, Register Now. I have used "post", tried "get", also "mailto:". "Post" and "get" don't work. "Mailto:" doesn't actually sent to my email but seems to link to it.
The command given to me by geocities (<form method=post action="http://geocities.yahoo.com/forms?login=myclub">) tells me that the command "post" cannot be used with urls. I asked geocities for help and they recommended I load PageBuilder and go from there. I don't want to use PageBuilder -- I LIKE playing around with the html, understanding what I'm doing (even if I do make mistakes!). I've told them this but further help is coming slower than I would like.
I will be registering our own domain name and we will be hosted elsewhere BUT I won't have access to cgi. I figure I might as well just do what I can within the geocities environment for now and then transfer when the time comes.
I MUST be doing something wrong but don't know what. Anyone know? I would be very grateful for you help. This is driving me crazy.

You can try posting the entire code from the form here (after anonymizing it), but likely moving to a real host will be the answer.
What is your site about? If it's not objectionable I might be able to give you some space on my server. (This is NOT an offer to the world, don't everybody start writing to me asking me for space.)
