At the moment I don't have any professional hosting so I use the space provided by my ISP. I am using a javascript redirect to the actual location and I have a few questions that I'd love to know the answer to!
a) Will the search engines redirect to the destination page or stop as soon as it notices the java?
b) Where should I put my meta tags? Should they be on the same page as the java redirect or the destination page?
c) If I have a website for 'wooden widgets', how should I specify the meta keywords (Am I allowed a space inbetween the words)? E.g
content="wooden widgets"
or
content="wooden, widgets"
Thanks all :)
I am a little confused by your first question reguarding the js redirect. Are you using some form of domain host to forward to your isp free space?
With reguard to meta keywords you should place them on your real page (the one on your isp)
Now, the question of comma or space. I'm afraid there really is no set in stone answer for this one. I generaly just use "keyword1 keyword2" but many still use "keyword1, keyword2"
To be honest the meta keyword has been depreciated a lot lately and many search engines now ignore this tag. Most now concentrate on the actual on page content.
Hope this is of some help.
