Hi, I'm new to this forum and not a computer wizard who can solve their computer problems and need forums to ask questions.
I like to enter contests (Cdn 0nly)and once in awhile I encounter this particular problem.
"Internal Server Error"
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Why does this happen when most times when I enter, I have no problem and then occasionally the above occurrs?

It's all on the website's server - either they have some bad code somewhere, or they didn't take into account a particular scenario that your entry triggered on their back end.

The specific reasons would number in the thousands or better - and only the website's tech people could know for sure.

As someone who administers a busy site with a popular CGI script, might I suggest that a common reason for this error is simply the server is overloaded with concurrent connections and requests - it's too busy!

So, perhaps try again, or go and make some coffee and then come back and try again.
