Accidentally deleted the root directory.. Is it possible to restore?

Is it possible to restore the deleted files in unix account?

Hi,

I have accidentally delted my root directory. Is it possible to restore all the deleted files. My hosting server is unix server. I am worried about it. I lost too many valuable files. Please help me.

O man, don't you have a back-up?
Then maybe your host has one. Some hosts make back-ups every 24 hours. Hope so, because if not, you have to try Google's or Yahoo's cache or Alexa's internet archive.

I don't have a backup. I have contacted my host. They told that they will try to restore the files. I am praying for that.
