Am using Frontpage 2002 and had set up a web-site which was working well, have then upgraded to a hosting package for 3 websites and now am having problems with publishing from original site. I am getting error messages that a web does not exist at the address, would I like Frontpage to create one at that location. I then say OK and it says Frontpage Server Extensions may not be installed.

I have contacted my hosting provider and they say the extensions are installed and can help no further as I'm probably doing something wrong in Frontpage - but am only doing things exactly how I was previously. Can anyone help? Could the 2 additional sites I have set up affected it as I am also having problems publishing from these sites?

Any help appreciated.

I have run into this exact issue with some of my clients...

they were attemtping to connect to:

[example.com...]

the solution, was:

[example.com...]
(no www)

the host was not configured correctly...and instead of trying to convince them that there was an issue...it was easier to have the client simply change they way they connected..

just my 2-cents!

Thanks tried without www. but am still getting message about Frontpage Server Extensions may not be installed. Hosting provider has also suggested I may have the sites saved in the wrong place, any idea where they should be saved.

I have master site saved in My Webs and 2 additional sites saved in folder on C drive in folder called "Frontpage Webs" is this correct and would this be causing any problems?
