Dreamweaver templates and search engines

Do they like them?

I have been lurking on the forum for quite awhile and have learned a lot from everyone here ( thanks!) but now I have a newbie questions I hope some folks can help me out with.

I am designing a site using Dreamweaver templates, which I've never done before. I understand the search engines don't like frames much, and I was wondering if a site using templates will have the same problems getting crawled and indexed by the major engines.

Thanks for any help or advice you can give,

kkay

the templated parts of DW tremplates are simply marked out using HTML comments telling the software which bits are editable. You can stil have super clean valid code in DW templates (if you set them up that way to begin with :))

SE's wont read the comments so the only difference it will make it will be a slight increase in code/text ratio. its highly unlikely to make any real difference to your position in the SERP's

I've been using DW templates for years without SE problems. Go for it.
