You posted an old message about top search engines in another category awhile back and Fast was one of the four you mentioned, who is that and do they still exist?

Fast is Alltheweb.com, they are now owned by Yahoo!.

Not to be anal rententive, I liked to clarify a little bit.

FAST is a technology company that sells enterprise search solutions. They built AllTheWeb.com to showcase their technology. They sold AllTheWeb to Yahoo. FAST is still their own company and still provides search technology to large companies.

From an SEO point of view, we don't care about FAST we care about AllTheWeb. From a consultant point of view we care about FAST solutions and if we should recommend them to our large clients.

In fact, we don't care about AllTheWeb either - it used to have a unique algo but nowadays it shows basically the same results as Yahoo Search.
