Ok, here it goes, I hope I do not confuse anyone. I have an iframe site. There is a left, a center and a right. Now, I have links on the left side. What I want to do is when people click any one of the links on the left side...they [one at a time] do a drop down menu of links on the right side. Now, when someone clicks one of the dropdown links on the right side, I would need that link to open up in the center...can anyone help me, I have been looking for information for over a week and cannot find what I am looking for. Thank you.

I don't work extensively with iframes, but I think this may have a targeting relationship.... as in the left-link would target the right-dropdown id for that link which in turn would target the center display area showing text and/or graphics associated with whichever dropdown was selected on-click.

Unusual idea. I tend to find it both needlessly complicated and counterintuitive. Hmmm. Interesting though, might have to play with it a bit, because I have a client whose stuff might be presented logically in this fashion.... and if THAT'S not a "diametrically-opposed viewpoints all in one statement" I don't know what is!

If I can figure it out, I'll let you know. Of course, there are many MANY more experienced/clever/intelligent people around here, any of whom may provide the answer in the next few seconds....
