Folder Lock Software

Looking for a folder lock freeware

Hi,

I was looking for a software (freeware) that can lock a folder in my computer. My computer is connected to one another in a network and I dont wanna anyone sneaking around my files.

The simple solution is to not share the folder that you don't want people on the network seeing. However, if you are on a network at your job, there really isn't much you can do as the SysAdmins can get to whatever they need to on any machine.

I use the paid version of PGP to encrypt certain disks I need to keep private. This can be done with folders as well. If you need something free check out GnuPG or OpenPGP. One of them might help.

Or use removable media. zip drive, floppy or cd/r.
