Hello all,

I'm not that new to web design, but someone asked me about the possibility of putting a site together for them, and had me flummoxed.

He's a toy retailer, who specialises in selling older toys, and he asked if it was possible for him to update his webpage without having to fiddle about with codes/programs - and instead, simply have to put in the relevent text and a picture - it sounds a lot like the system in place on eBay - but how would anyone go about doing it?

Thanks for any suggestions

Sounds like you would need to set up a content managment system for him to edit what he wants. Check this thread [webmasterworld.com].

For an ebay-like solution you might want to try a search for "auction script"

Are his items going to be auctioned or set price?

If set price then a shopping cart would be better than an auction script.
