Hi, I have made my own website and have had many good comments about it. I know nothing of html ect, I used serif page plus and a free ftp program. My domain was set up with freenetname. I am now being asked to do websites for other people, business and private, how do I get sites on the web for others? Would I be better waiting until I have learned html and more about the web?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld

It’s a good question, when do one know enough. You can always learn a little more. I would recommend that jump into it. If you can produce a result that people likes and will pay fore, you know enough in my book. Learn as much as you can. Doing it for real is the best and fastest way of learning.
You could start by reading these two posts, just to get a head start on SEO, Then work with the HTML and web design

I recommend that you dive into some of the free online html tutorials out there. If it makes you hungry for more that's a clue you are on the right track. :)

Thanks guys, I'm getting started on a new web page now, trying to get to grips with dreamweaver but after page plus I'm finding it more difficult, but hey that's what makes it fun!

Yup. Exactly. You may also want to try fiddling around with some templates out there, if you're finding it very hard -- that might give you a little idea and introduction to Dreamweaver.
