I work in win98 se.
I am preparing web pages, mixed text & graphics.
I write them in Word97 and I add links for connetcing the single documents.
All the documents are in the same folder.
In order to keep the desired outlay of the pages I convert them into pdf format.
Before launching on the web I inspect them offline. All goes well, only the cursor on pdf page doesn’t change into pointer when pointing to the link, and so the linked page cannot be reached.
This happens only in pdf. When the same doc is converted to HTML the link works properly.
What did I do wrong? How can I put a link on a pdf page?
Please advise
Thanks

Do you have Acrobat distiller?

There are different ways to make PDF's - I think Acrobat writer defaults to the simplest level of markup which does not decalre hyperlinks in the document.

Distiller allows you more control over the output. I think you could probably do this with writer but you will need to configure this.
