What's the real story on reciprocal links? Are they worth it? What does Google think of them?
I know that I am listed on lycos, alltheweb, and a couple other minor search engines. I've read about banned sites? I hope i didn't do anything to get my site banned.
The only thing I could think of was submitting my site about 10 times in 2 months.
I've noticed some sites that have a completely white page rank - is that better or worse than no page rank at all (which I have now).
Ok, so you all are laughing but I just don't know where else to turn. I can't afford to pay to have my site submitted. <snip URL> I'd surely appreciate any feedback - u have no idea

[edit reason] TOS#14 and tidied layout. [/edit]
i bought my site just over two months ago and i'm still not listed in google. I've added lots of content over the past month and have taken out anything that could have been questionable.

Your second and third questions answers the first. Links coming to you are the best way of getting indexed in Google. Also if you don't have any, you will not stay indexed in Google for very long.

Re-submitting does not increase your chances of being added. Consider submitting to DMOZ.org, if you get listed here you will be added to Google directory as well and guarantees that you will be indexed in Google search.

All white is PageRank 0 which is usually associated with Google penalizing these sites for doing something wrong. Sometime, normally on pages other than the mainpage, there isn't enough PR to be pass to deeper linked pages therefore PR0 isn't always a penalty.

It's good that you can afford to pay for submissions. They are not worth a nickle.

If the site is well put together and there are lots of good content, no 'funny stuff' and inbound links, just hang on in there.
Did you read this post [webmasterworld.com ], it's kind of an all you need to know to get started.
Good luck!
