Hi
just wondered if anyone could offer any tips or pointers.
I would like to add a search facility to my site and wondered what was the easiest/best way to do it.

I have no in-depth knowledge of programming etc, just build basic HTML sites with a few javascripts.

Any easy to follow help or tips greatly appreciated.
Regards
Rod

If your site is under 500 pages you can use Atomz for free. Very good service they offer and you can customise it as much as you want.

Hi Craig
thanks for that, much appreciated that would do for 1 site but I have another site that is well over the 500 limit.

I also wondered how difficult it was to keep the search 'in house' rather than third party.
Cheers

I noticed that one of the hosts we use has a search script that they will install for you. Check yours if you haven't already.

HI Bump
sadly no search via the host I am afraid.

Does anyone have any opinions on the Bravenet services?

I don't want the free services but am looking for a "paying" option on their site (without success at the moment!

They seem to offer a lot but are they any good?

Rod

A few of the SEs themselves offer free site search facilities. Here is Googles...
