What a shock, I'll be getting my web page up shortly, so I started comming up with a few names for my site. I punched in a name on Google and, wham, there was 3 web sites that contained posts I'd made to different Web site forums. When I clicked the page all that showed up was the actual posts I'd made at these sites, not the sites themselves. Hey, there right at the top and I didn't submit them to google, How did those articles show up on Google? Also, I'm almost 100% sure I'm going with a software called site Spinner, any one know about this software and could give me some advice on these drag and drop programs, Thanks, Hixster

Hi Hixster,
Welcome to Webmaster World.

Blog and bulletin board postings seem to be well indexed within the last few Google cycles. Hovever Google seems to be getting better at filtering these out.

But isn't that what we want, a search engine that finds everything? You type it and Google remembers.

From my point of view, the departure of Yahoo seems to be improving the serps. Google's listening......
