Hi,
Can anybody recommend a good site for learning how to decipher raw access logs? I am confused by some of the data of my visitors.

For example, one of my visitors is:-

****.xxx.118.234 - - [17/Dec/2003:11:47:34 -0600] "GET /MSOffice/cltreq.asp?UL=1&ACT=4&BUILD=4219&STRMVER=4&CAPREQ=0 HTTP/1.1" 404 133

I just wonder what this visitor was trying to do (even though I presume he could not do it because of the 404 message. But this data was not like a normal entry and so I would like to find out more.

Thanks,
Paul

If you do a site search on: MSOffice/cltreq.asp you will come up with a few threads on the subject.
