I am looking for a PDA for my wife. I was wondering what the best one was that has basic functionality. She will be using for appointments, addresses, and lists. She is not very proficient with computers so it has to be pretty user friendly. I think she would be fine with monochrome. I want something that will hold up for a while. What would you suggest?

Visor Neo & Edge models are down close to $100 now... I wouldn't recommend anything with less than 8MB of memory. The Palm m105 is pretty basic, and only $99 list price now, but it uses AAA batteries, which would be a hassle.

Any 8MB Palm pda will be about the same as the next, user-interface and functionality-wise. I'd go with the cheapest 8MB+ Palm OS model you can find, with a built-in rechargable battery.
