Well, at $500 retail, PicoBlue is a bit expensive. [store.yahoo.com...] While BlueGate is about $800.

Anyone know of a cheaper alternative for home BlueTooth network controller/access point?

What do you make of this? I'm not sure I get the whole story with it: [bluetooth-market.com...]

I'm not sure that this will work. [compgeeks.com ]. It will send and receive Bluetooth for ~$50. It's a USB port adapter for Bluetooth. But you have to provide the computer, and I don't know if you can make it act as an access point.
