Any cool smart phones out there with wifi? And that will work around the world?

I travel a lot between Europe and Canada and need a phone that will work in both areas. I have seperate sim cards for each region that I pop in depending on where I am.

I'd really like one that I could check email on (using wifi preferably, not some subscription service).

Any recommendations? I really don't know too much about phones these days!

I was looking at the treo as I hear it can be hacked to get wifi, but would prefer something that would work out of the box.

The imate SP5 is a "phone" with WiFi. It has a few derivatives here in the UK. Vodafone now have it as the v1240 and I believe o2 will be bringing it out soon. There is also a music version of the phone, identical except for some additional buttons called the SP5m

Otherwise there are a raft of PDA phones that have WiFi on board. imate JasJar and k-Jam both have keyboards aswell. More networks have these, doing a G search will turn up the models along with the network branded equivalents.

I should also add (as my first reply was very Windows Mobile centric) that Nokia will be bringing out several WiFi equipped phones this year, probably Q2 and that the 9300i and 9500 communicators that are currently out, have WiFi.

Eventually most manufacturers will provide phones with WiFi, but I've mentioned more of what's available now.
