I'm buying a new laptop and have been researching what I need to make sure it has. It's going to be used mainly for business and the one thing I was wondering about is Bluetooth. A lot of laptops seem to be advertising Bluetooth. My phone has Bluetooth and I've heard it can sync right up to your laptop wirelessly so you can use the internet through your phone. Is that true?

Hi malin, Welcome to WebmasterWorld! [webmasterworld.com]

Bluetooth enabled phones are great for anything - I noticed you asked about PDAs eariler. With a bluetooth enabled phone, any bluetooth advice can access it, including PDAs, other phones, laptops, etc.

If the laptop doesn't come with bluetooth installed (many still don't), you can easily get a bluetooth USB adaptor or PCMCIA card.
