AvantGo Slow?

Anyone experiencing slow updates?

As I've posted in the past, AvantGo news is one of my most-used PDA apps, right after the scheduler/contact manager and password safe.

I usually sync very early in the morning, and it's normally quite fast. For the last couple of days, though, even at my way-off-peak hour, I've had very slow sync times. This morning, I had to interrupt it after 10 min or so.

Anyone else use AvantGo and have similar problems?

I think there was/is a new version of the MyDoom virus running around. I've seen slow connect times to various things.

I've collected a few more data points. While the incredibly long update time seems to have improved a bit, I think I must be catching one of the content providers in the middle of their data upload or something. I tried at another time of day and the update was very quick.
