Pocket PC sync with Outlook Inbox

I am having a problem with the Pocket PC synronization with the Outlook inbox?
I have about 30 messages in my Outlook Inbox, yet Pocket PC says there are 800 plus and it will not complete synchronization. It starts but then disconnects. Everything else (tasks, notes etc.) syncronize fine. And my Inbox sync used to also work fine?

iPAQ Pocket PC
Microsoft Pocket PC 3.0

There's a little virus floating around today, so you may in fact have 800 messages in your Inbox...I know I did this AM.
