The European hotspot market increased by 327% over the last year from 269 locations at the end of 2001 to around 1,150 locations at the end of 2002
Many European cities have set up hotspots or planning to do so.
The main problem appears to be the fact most operators are limited to small regions, with roaming rarely available.
