Pocket PC Business Programs

Product and price lists

I finally got my new Pocket PC. The main reason I wanted it is to pull up prices on parts while I am away from the computer. The only problem is that looking them up on Excel is a pain because there are a couple thousand products.

Are there any good products out there to help search a database or spreadsheet of parts?

I use a Nokia 9210 which probably works differently but I have a "find" function on my excel style spreadsheet (CTRL-F).

If the spreadsheet can fit in your memory, that should do the trick I would have thought.

That is what I got...after waiting a month.

I have found one program called PPCQuery Tool. It lets me search an Access database and I have saved prefabbed SQL queries to search it with. It works o.k.

What I would really like is a way to look at a dynamic web page from a database so I can see all of the product description without being on the net. Is there a way to do this?
