Have a look at the CMS Matrix at [cmsmatrix.org...] (which includes many well-known packages but is also missing some like WordPress and NucleusCMS) and OpenSourceCMS at [opensourcecms.org...] (whose name is somewhat misleading, as it reviews proprietary as well as open source software).
But if you want those extra features such as working multilanguage support, good built in Search Engine Friendly URLS and upgrades that are backward compatible, I wouldnt go passed typo3. I always stayed away from it because reviews everywhere said it had a steep learning curve IMHO it doesnt, just follow the documentation given and its not as difficult as people say it is.
