Im creating html pages that will get the first page results from either yahoo, altavista, alltheweb, google, google images and google news via CGI script.

What are the things should I do not to violate copyright in the created html pages?

All I know is that theres an available scripts in any script search directory about this.

Your comment and help is greatlty appreciated.

Just because there are scripts available for something doesn't always mean the activity is legal or ethical.

At first glance, reproducing a page of SERPs from a search engine sounds like a copyright violation. Search engines spend money on PhDs, giant server farms, etc., and I can't imagine them letting someone else display their content without some kind of compensation (money, advertising, etc.).

In the past, metasearch sites have aggregated multiple searches, though, and there are some sites that still do things like link pop checks that apparently have tacit or explicit consent to run queries and display results.

I'd contact the search engines you plan to query to find out what's allowable. If you try to fly under the radar, they'll probably spot the activity from your IP anyway.
