I am selling templates for a content management system. In these templates I use many freeware fonts downloaded from the internet.

1. Am I allowed to use freeware fonts in my commerical products?

2. Am I allowed to sell a package of 100 freeware fonts?

3. Am I allowed give away a package of 100 freeware fonts as a purchasing bonus?

Thank you so much

When you say "freeware" and "downloaded" - what *exactly* do you mean?

Firstly, you need to read the specific terms and conditions of the license granted to you when you downloaded said fonts - they may prohibit commercial use, or grant only limited commercial use. It's possible that there was no explicit T&C, which makes it more difficult, as its an implied license. It's even possible that the site you downloaded it from was infringing the original copyright.

Your questions cannot be answered until you have performed this analysis.
