Do I have to ask sites if I want to put them in my paid member section

I do not want to be sued.

Basically, I am making a site whereby memebers sign up and are then given the option to sign up to 300 sites at once, therefore saving them hours of time, (rather like the search engine submitters work). I was wondering whether I would have to email every site before putting them in my members section. Is there any possibility that I may be sued?
Thanks

Not sure about the legal stuff, but in your situation I would write to those sites and politely ask them if they mind. Might gain you some goodwill.

<added>Some of them may even want to link to you.

Megeve, I think contacting the sites you'll be providing automated signups for is essential.

Some sites may be happy for additional registrants, others may be focused on the quality of signup and may block you. If your site is successful, you'll surely attract the notice of the more astute sites when they look at traffic reports.

Yes. If you email them, they would know and they probably wont mind adding a link to you.
