I am in the process of creating a process flow chart for both web development and content creation. Wanted to see what others use and that "tools' are available.

Thanks,

I usually keep it simple and use a spreadsheet with timeline.

I tried using special flowchart tools but found they wouldn't do what exactly what I wanted. Thev've got better in recent years but the timeline in a spreadsheet works for me.

If appearance is important, Visio is a great tool for flow charts, org charts, network maps...

Visio is pretty sweet. PowerPoint is also very handy for quick mock ups.

I think SmartDraw is the best tool I've used for charts - free trial:

I second for smartdraw. Tried a couple of times in the past, and always ended up with big sheets of paper, pencil nad stickits... last project I found smartdraw and it work really smoothly.
