5 page ecommerce website... too little content?

Is this even worth optimizing?

Greetings All,

I sell rock door knobs from a site. There are only 25 different door knobs spread over 5 "texture" categories (each category has five knobs). I am debating on putting all 25 rock door knobs on 1 page to beef up the key phrase density ie. Pewter Rock Door Knob - Model 1 ... Model 25.. This would leave me with a 2 page website consisting of a home page and 1 target key phrase RICH page.

Is that too little content in the eyes of SE's? Does it matter how many pages the site contains? What does "Lot's of Quality Content" mean eg) larger site or lots of text on a page?

I could leave the five separate categories and attempt to apply a theme based approach. What do you think?

I greatly appreciate your time,
Michael.

You can easily add a little content.

Make a tutorial on how to install those knobs. You can make at least another 5 pages of quality, keyword densed content. Include images and add good alt tags.

Yes, installation procedures, good idea.
What about cleaning, too - are they affected by modern cleaning solvents?
Is there any maintenance?
What about the doors - are there unsuitable doors (glass, wood, metal doors) and which are suited to what type?
What about design tips - choosing a suitable knob (colours, textures)?
New models?
Best sellers?
Recent press coverage?
About the company page.
What about accessories & services - door stops, repairs?
Shipment info?
Add FAQs.

I hope that has given you a few ideas.

I agree with everything engine mentioned.

Also think about those really dumb questions you have been asked over the years (you know, the ones you snicker about behind the customers back) and write an article about them. They make great spider food, and you might just find a customer who was trying to find out if pewter doorknobs come in other colors ;)

Given that I've never even considered the possibility of the mere existence of your product (now that's a niche!), I'd love to know:

- where the idea came from
- how many have been produced
- do any famous people own them
- other trivia

You can do several pages of fun facts right there!
