Hi.

I am looking for a content management system.

On my website the connent is currently taken from text files and then generated via PHP script and template file.
I like it that way because it's easy to use and straight forward.

The problem is that my pages are created from up to 50 individual text files. I had to do that because my previous ISP didn't offer mySQL so I couldn't run a database.
So each entry of my "database" (I know it's not a real database) is now stored inside an individual text file.

Therefore, I cannot add a search engine or adding a new item in the list requires me to add the text file with the new content to every single page, which is extremely uncomfortable and takes ages (I have some 500 pages in my website).

Hence, I am looking for a new solution.
I do have mySQL now, but I don't know how to use it (yet).
What I'd like is a management system that runs similar to the script I am using now (one script that loads files into a template), but takes advantage of a real database.
A search engine would be nice, too, but it's not one of my priorities.

I searched hotscript.com, but I couldn't find a script that did what I was hoping for.

Does someone perhaps know scripts that can do that?

Thanks in advance! :-)
