So I turn to my friends for some insight. It is so important to grow the site if you want long term success.
So what content are you adding?
What are you basing this content on?
How are you linking it in the site for best results?
How many pages are you trying to add on a monthly basis?

How are you linking it in the site for best results?
How many pages are you trying to add on a monthly basis?
You are sort of asking the age old question, "How long is a piece of string?" The content you add is anything you feel your customer may want to know about your product(s). It really depends upon what you are selling.
If selling a particular brand of snow skis, then the buyer may want to know:
1) The manufacturing process.
2) The materials used.
3) Why they are better than everyone elses.
4) Which famous skiiers use the same model(s).
5) The best snow conditions to produce maximum performance.
6) The post sale services you offer.
etc.
If you want your site to become wildly popular for all skiiers who may be interested in your products, then you may consider adding:
1) In depth information about skiing in your area ... including the best slopes, restaurants, places to stay, etc.
(This is a great opportunity to give out links to local businesses in return for reciprocal links. For this type of link, you will be reinforcing the keywords associated with your location)
2) Provide info regarding ski schools available in your area. (More reciprocal linking opportunities.)
3) If you are the ambitious type and an expert skiier ... write several pages of skiing tips and include maintenence tips for the brand(s) you sell. (Good opportunity to interlink within your own site)
etc., etc. The possibilities are only bounded by your own imagination. Stay on theme and base everything around info the customer "may" want to know about your brand of skis, the area where you are located, skiing tips, links to other skiing sites which may be of interest to your potential customers ... and so forth.
There are no hard and fast rules about when or how much ontent to add. The concept is to make your site an "authority" and a "must read" for those looking to buy skis or go skiing in your area.
