Submitting Same Press Release to Multiple Directories?

Will It Be Worth?

I have a list of press release
accepting directories (about 15)
which themselves are high trafiic
sites.

Is it worth to submit to all of them
if time is not a factor?

If I decide to do so, should I
do it on the same day?
(I don't care about the publishing date here.
I want to try some free ones first and then go
for paid ones if my PR works well in free ones.
)

Can't really answer on the first question exactly. However I have learned from experience (and studies) that free press release directories aren't that great. Sure you get listed on a number of sites so it might be worth it because of that. But the intended use for a press release gets lost in these kind of directories.

A few well written targeted releases to a few magazines in your field of business can prove more valuable, it sure did to me.

PR directories work on a scattergun approach - hopefully they're bound to hit something. If such an untargeted method suits you, then do carry on.

If time is not a factor in the relevancy of the releases, then to hit one or all of the directories on the same day will make little or no difference to the impact they will create.

If there is no timescale attached to stories you wish to release then I might be concerned about their merit initially...
