I am getting ready to implement a strategy in attempts of solving this problem and would appreciate anyone’s feedback on the approach I have arrived at.
The idea I have come up with is to break each page into two similar sections and then write several different versions of each section. My thought is that as long as all variations of the first section can be combined any of the second section it would allow me to create web pages that have the same basic message without creating duplicate content. For example, if there are 5 different variations of 2 sections, this could potentially create 32 different web pages that basically say the same thing.
Does anyone have any feedback on this basic strategy?
Does anyone have an opinion as to whether Google penalizes websites that have portions of a page that are identical to other sites on the web?
Does anyone know if Google penalizes an entire site if there some duplicate pages on the site or do they only penalize the pages of the site that have duplicate content?
If I run the pages this strategy creates against a SEO similarity, what is the minimum threshold I should try to achieve to avoid triggering Googles duplicate content filter?
