Copyright = Legal rights to commercialise, license, transfer, broadcast or reproduce an original piece of work, irrespective of its supporting media.

You couldn't be much more illegal if you tried.

so does nobody uses cd content or magazine content

I write my own magazines

Last week, I had a 200.-EUR hit.
Somebody wanted for a printed publication a photo from one of my web sites.
We agreed on 200.-EUR
I wrote him a bill with a description what photo can be used for what publication.

So is the normal way when somebody wants to publish material where an other person has the copyright.

so will i have to face any consequences.

Being banned from AdSense is one possibility that comes to mind.

You can also be banned from the search engines, and your hosting service can be required to take your pages down if the CD owner files a DMCA complaint.

Stealing is stupid. Don't do it.

It never ceases to amaze me how lazy and ignorant some people are.

ishika, if material is copyrighted, it's copyrighted, and you can be penalized in a number of ways for infringing the copyright. You can also suffer other consequences, as people here have stated.

If the CD contains a compilation of public domain material, then the situation MAY be different, but I doubt you can benefit much from republishing material that is already widely available.

Don't do it. It's to your credit, at least, that you asked first, but you need to educate yourself about copyright. Though you are based in India, you could start with the web site for the US Copyright Office, since US users will presumably be viewing your site. Of course, study Indian copyright law, and it wouldn't hurt to be familiar with UK copyright law too.

Any media can, and usually is copyrighted, unless stated otherwise. It doesn't matter how if you change the media type, the work is still intellectual copyright of the original author.

Lets think about the opposite. How would you feel if someone copied your website to CD-Rom and sold it.
