What can you do about Scrapers that change random words?

I was doing a search for sites that contain the term www.mysite.com and came across a brand new (less than a month old) site that had copied one of my original articles and put it on their site, however, they have changed the body of the article to where it actually does not make much sense when it is read, but left my name and the links back to my site in place.

Is there anything I can do to get the article removed from the site? I do not want my article to appear like it appears on this particular site. It looks like they have taken out random words and inserted their own.

I guess this is one of the problems of publishing original content, but I would think there is a way to take action against this kind of stuff. Is there?

Hi dmje: If the perp made a mess of your text,
but left up links to your site, its almost like he's doing you a favor.
You get a little traffic from the links, while the perp is unlikely to get organic incoming links.

I wonder what some of these types are thinking of. -Larry
