a pretty hip (!?) feature these days are content maps. You know where the user can see articles visualized as maps with links to related articles.
There are some sites that has this kind of system for music, for example if the user searches for "The Blue Widget Band" a whole map with the Blue Widget Band in the middle is displayed and a number of other related bands linked with lines to the user main search. Sort of like those nifty mind maps you draw at meetings.
Do anyone know how you create these maps? Are there any dynamic systems out there that easily integrates to an existing website? Also do you believe that there is any gain in displaying content as maps? I mean they are not far off from just ordinary text links with related topics.
