Hello,

This is my first message to the "content and copywriting" section.

Recently, i found out that a web master has linked my site (i was glad about that), I visited the page and found that the page also has a massive amount of text that is copied from my site. The page has two parts, one for links and other part was full of usefull tips on DOs and DONTs of search engines.

I noticed that the entire piece of text under the "donts" of search engines has been picked from my site. It is nearly 500 words entirely copied.

Please someone advise. Should I send a polite email to the web master asking to mention "that part of the text" as a property of my site, or remove that text.

What if he does not obey? What are the necessary actions that I can take?

asomani,

This problem has been rehearsed many times in the past, which may be why people are not falling over themselves to address it again. Browse this section and pick up some advice from previous cases.

Let us know what happens.

Here are a few of the threads which you may find helps you conclude matters.
