Hey guys,

The company I work for has 2 primary products - both have similar branding but are currently hosted on 2 seperate domains (eg: www.myproduct1.com and www.myproduct2.com)

Does anyone know of any articles/studies about creating a combined portal page from which users can access either product? So they would land at www.myproduct.com and then be routed to either www.myproduct.com/product1 or www.myproduct.com/product2

Is it a good thing/bad thing? Do users like it? What should I watch out for when considering this?

thanks :)

Are the products related? Having two completely different products on one page might get confusing.

Yes the products are in the same industry. It makes sense to have them together, although each has a slightly different target market.

One of the products is particularly strong, so we want the other product to benefit from this branding.
