I have a small website that I just put on the web that seems to be generating a little interest from all ages. The problem is it doesn't have much content. I need to figure out how to add some content to it and where I need to put it to get A: higher search engine ranking B: Better Click through Rate C: Better return rate of existing users.
I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.
Thanks

Start by asking yourself how well you cover your subject. Are there obvious gaps? If so, work on filling them.

Provide a clear, well-structured site, so that people can find information.

Then, ask your visitors what THEY want to see. What questions did they have that weren't answered? What general information did they expect to find but didn't? Short answers could go into a FAQ page, but you may get plenty of ideas for full-blown articles.

My site is a pretty well-known destination in a niche (writing and illustrating children's books.) I've been soliciting and answering people's questions for years and at this point I have more ideas and plans than I can possibly implement.

Put up more content, make it findable, and you'll meet your A, B, and C goals.

Good luck.
