Do a "whois" and look for their domain servers. That's usually who's hosting them.

whois.net is a place to start.

Good luck.

Domain servers info is not reliable. The offending website does not have to use the ISP's domain servers.

Do a ping on the domain (in the command line write ping www.domain.com), find out the IP and then search for the owner of the IP in the ARIN, RIPE or APNIC database.

do a whois, find out the DNS info. Plug that into google to find out the name of the host, then contact the host.

okay have no idea what you are trying to tell me to do... went to whois.net ... and then what...

Where do submit the offending site's URL and then what? sorry to be so vague but I have never done this before and I'm confused... maybe because I'm so angry I can't think straight...

thanks,

If it is a german domain, then use eurodns.com search for the site. You will see that the domain is 'taken' and there will be a "whois" link in the right column - click it to see the domain/ISP info.

Thanks I did that .... however, would you believe it that site is listed as FREE... so I guess... I can't do much about that one

Now onto the other six sites who have copied across my articles... SHEEECH.... I must have the most popular articles... it seems as if just about every and any Elvis site is stealing content from me.... give-me-a-break... I got better things to do but hunt down thieves...

I'm off to kick the cat...

Do a traceroute to the domain, and look at the last gateways where the traffic passes through. The last one usually belongs to the provider.
